Lecture Videos
In the lecture portion, Dr. McKee discusses the Piper classification system and explains how the condition of the TM joint affects orthodontic, prosthetic, and restorative treatments. He also reviews disc displacement and its impact on mandibular growth, occlusion, and airway health, providing critical insights into comprehensive patient treatment planning.
Hands-on Demonstration
Dr. McKee applies the theoretical concepts discussed in the lecture to real-life cases. Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to trace MRI scans and identify TM joint structures in patients they encounter in everyday dental practice. The demonstrations are designed to make recognizing joint abnormalities an intuitive part of the diagnostic process.
