Meet the instructors

Dr. Kathy French

Dr. Kathy French has practiced dentistry for over twenty-five years. She has a BA from the University of Michigan, where she also received her DDS from the University's Dental School. Dr. French is also one of the co-founders of the Beautiful Sleep Group.

Dr. French has completed over five times the required number of the Pankey Institute courses, concentrating on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is also a visiting faculty member at the Pankey Institute. 
Dr. French is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Chicago Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Additionally, Dr. French is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and successfully treats patients suffering from obstructive sleep apnea and snoring. Her practice was granted dental sleep medicine facility accreditation status by the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Sleep Coordinator, Nicole, supports the care of patients with airway issues or sleep-disordered breathing. 
Nicole has been working alongside Dr. French as a Sleep Coordinator since 2002.
Nicole helps coach patients through testing and treatment to ensure comprehensive evaluation and treatment of patients with sleep disorders. 
As an expert in sleep technology, Nicole provides oversight to assist patients with sleep-disordered breathing.

Dr. Dennis Hartlieb 

Dr. Dennis Hartlieb is an active member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry where he’s both an Accredited Member and Examiner for Accreditation. Dr. Hartlieb is the President of the Chicago Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy, and a member of the prestigious American Academy of Restorative Dentistry.  

Dr. Hartlieb has been running a successful fee-for-service cosmetic practice in Chicago for over 30 years. With over 25 years of experience teaching cosmetic dental techniques to dentists of all levels, Dr. Hartlieb is an instructor you don't want to miss.
